Era Infra bags contract from Airports Authority of India
Era Infra Engineering Ltd’s Contracts Division in a joint venture with KMB, Ukraine bagged a contract from Airports Authority of India (AAI). The value of the contract is Rs 77,91,57,986.
The scope of work for the contract is the expansion and modification of Terminal Building for International Operation at C.E. Pune.
This project is expected to be completed by October 2008.
With this, the order backlog for the Era Group on consolidated basis has gone up to Rs 4500 crore. This is the total value of unexecuted orders till date.
Commenting on the contract, Mr. H.S. Bharana, Chairman, Era Group said, “Considering the ongoing boom in the aviation sector, the demand for quality infrastructure with international standards has taken utmost importance. We thank the Airports Authority of India for believing that Era Group can create and deliver those standards. This project strengthens our presence in the aviation sector”.
