Holi-day…Market closed for two days
Markets would be shut on March 10 and on March 11 on account of Milad-un-Nabi and Holi repectively.
With weakness across world equity markets, participants will be more than happy with Indian markets closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Markets would be shut on March 10 on account of the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Mohammad and would also be closed on Wednesday March 11 on the occasion of Holi, the festival of colours happiness and fulfillment, celebrated at the onset of spring.
Indian markets would resume trading on March 12. Key developments to watch will be the IIP data for January and inflation for the week ended Feb. 28. Industrial production is expected to contract again in January as against a negative growth of 2% recorded in the previous month. Inflation is expected to drop further to 2.34% as against 3.03% in the previous week.
