today when nifty is 2% up , why did nifty call option not go at least 50 % up ?

was holding nifty 6100 put and as per the advise i got from cb, i entered a 6300 call to hedge that. what levels shall i exit? actually theres quite a difference betweent he holding values as the put had gone down from 59 to 37 and call went up only by 6 points (101 to 107) please tell me what would be the best strategy
