If SMA (7) < SMA(14) [nifty], does it indicate a down trend unless we open above the SMA (14) level and maintain that for tomorrow. Could you explain this. Ideally is this i.e. 7 and 14 days used for SMA

Kartik, replies: Hi anoop, they are technical terms, tops (triple/double) indiacte resistance levels, a close above these levels can take the stock higher, whereas Bottom (triple/double) indicates support, a close below this makes a stock weak
