Interim dividend means dividend will get distributed by the company before it was announced. am i right? if not correct me. I think there wont be Record date kind of thing like Final dividend(for which we can buy shares for dividend after declaration also).

Hi mark, yes..its the dividend which is declared and distributed before the company's annual earnings have been calculated; often distributed quarterly.
