Can Pantaloon go down further? what do the chart say?
Please give me one or two stocks which i can short and which look weak technically? So, in case market fall further i can compensate the losses i will have in Pantallon, Sterlite and Petronenet LNG Futures.

How about IDEA Cellular, CIPLA and BIOCON.

Holding
1 lot of IDEA CALL 80 @ 1.30 (LTP = 0.75)
2 lots of CIPLA CALL 340 @ 10 (LTP = 5.50)
1 lot of BIOCON CALL 420 @ 12.30 (LTP = 7.75)
Please suggest, Which one to hold and which one to book loss ?

hi cb... i need some details about ipo issues (in general). hope i am not troublng u too much with all these questions
(obviously, this is in light of the coal india ipo opening issue tomorrow)
1) when i aplly for an IPO thats heavily oversubscribed (which coal india will be, most probably) how do they choose who to allot the shares to? is it on the basis of any factors like price or quantity applied for or is it based on some kind of lottery?
2) does it make a difference if i apply tomorrow rather than the last day? if it gets oversubscibed, do they have an option to close the bid?
3)how long will it take to know the status(whether ipo is applotted or not), and get refund if any?
i know its quite a few questions... buthope u dont mind.. thanks in advance
CB, replies: Hi suds, no issues. its a random process. does not matter if you apply on the first day or the last day.. usually takes couple of weeks to know if you have got an allotment or not.
