today market was negative then why nifty puts fall so badly and calls ?

The closing price for IFCI October Future was 74.25...On the NSE website, it is mentioned as IFCI October Future Settlement Price as 73.85...Can u please tell what it means and how does it affect us?

I have exited ABIRLANUV. Again i want to buy at lower levels so how much low it can go?

Why HAVELLS came down to -50%??

Yes..what i am saying is that the CLOSING PRICE OF IFCI FUTURE is 74.25 and the SETTLEMENT PRICE OF IFCI FUTURE is 73.85...what is the difference between CLOSING PRICE AND SETTLEMENT PRICE?
Kartik, replies: Hi Navin, Settlement price is the official closing price for a future set by the clearing, its the weighted average of prices traded during the closing minutes(30 min)

i am holding GAIL/Pantaloon FUT in huge loss.
secondly, i was planning to buy MLL FUT since it was 55, slowly it gas come up to 67.
Can i still enter MLL with atarget of around 72-74 before the expiry?
