Dear CB,
Good Afternoon! Here is one of the most stupid questions.
ABB is going out of the stock market right? So if I understand it right, the price of a stock goes up when there is more demand (more people to buy the stock) for the stock. Right? Now ABB's stock price has gone up from around 700+ to 900+ to date off late. This is although the stock is going to close today. So I am quite puzzled at this increase. Why will anyone want to buy a stock that's going to close out? If it is not because of buying then how can the stock price go up?
I am asking this query because you are there for every thing in the stock market. :-)
