hi i short sold ISPAT 5000@ 23rs on wednesday and today those shares wil bought back in auction. ihave my account in sharekhan. when i called in customer care they said that the auction price will 30% more than market price and the other says there will penaly charges varying from 3% to 20% . i wil be in big loss .please tell me what exactly happens
CB, replies: Hi nilesh, once you sold them, after 3-5 days they will be bought in open market via auction.. charges are usually 3%.
