cb,sorry for bothering u.wts my doubt is if 9d,26d lines moves at same value with out crossing each one,wt it indicates? for ex our nifty is in rally but no crossing of these lines occurred.so can we assume that this rally is not sustainable until crossing occurs? can we predict that this bubble may burst -ve side at any time?
CB, replies: Hi DSP, as long as Nifty looks above the cloud it looks positive(bearish, since Ichimoku clouds predicts Short term trends). The lines are used to show the strength of the breakout, if 9d cross 26d along with the stock closing above the cloud, then its considered as a strong breakout. For Intermediate trends, you may use RSI, which shows how Overbought/Oversold a stock is
