I will try to answer your query partially from what information I recd. from other sources. State bank of Mysore rose apparently because its board would meet on August 25, 20100 to decide the record date as well as the ratio and pricing of its proposed rights issue.
Only CB/Kartik can help us understand what this means though :-).
