i am having 26/08/2010 5200/5300/5400/5500 put and supposed to loss approx.20k.
should i wait for 25 or 26 date or face loss on monday.

I purchased REI AGRO @ 22.50/1000 shares. and ESSAR OIL @ 144/200SHARES. I am not finding any moment in these stocks. Whether I have to hold or Sell? suggest me

You had told me to keep strict sl of 212 ..when albk goes below 208,
I wd like to know .. as nifty is looking strong ,[close ^5100]and is likely to head up to 5600 ,,shall I exit around 208 on m'day plz? [holding short at 200]
also can you kindly tell..it 's ichimoku cloud shows between 160-170.. what does that mean plz?

Kartik, replies: Hi Gitanjali, in case of ALBK, the stock manged to close above the cloud on 06-07-2010, prior the stock was trading within the cloud. once the stock closes above the clould (in this case 06-07), it looked strong, as was buy for Short/Mid term, also the closed above its 26d base and 9d conversion lines which indicated a stronger breakout, currently the stock is trading just above its 26 d base line (which is around 209), below which it could see some downside. Now assume that the stock had closed below 160 (below the cloud), then it would have been a sell call for Short term

Kartik, replies: Hi neelimakumar, consideratoin should be give when the stock closes (cross from or lower it) above it, in case of Dish tv this was done on 04-06-10. If you look a wider range, say 9 months, you will notice that the stock closed below the cloud(crossed and closed lower it) on 19-02-10, this would indicate a sell

Hi Kartik, wud like to know about this cloud funda...just checked DISH TV.....ICHIMOKU IS BETWEEN 46.42 nd it closed above 46....does that mean it cud b bought nd if it had closed below 42 that wud have made it a shorting candidate. how reliable can this anaylisis b
