hi Kartik, I have 100 shares of [email protected] and [email protected] from last 1 week, pidilite is still flat and archies continously going down, in how many days I can expect some profit.

can u pls tell me how to do shrtselling? for short selling do i need to have that stock in my demat or atst position?
Kartik, replies: Hi mithun, nope, you can short sell only those stocks that are in F&O, eg. Reliance, HDFC etc. to short sell first directly sell a stock and higher levels and then cover it up on the same day in Intraday at lower levels, to cover it you simply place a buy order, only Intraday short selling in allowed in equities
