Kartik sir, there is 10 Rs difference between Educomp July future(closing 619) and August future(closing 609),
why so and what does that indicate.
I am confused because as per my understanding August future should trade at above or at par with july future as tomorrow is expiry, please help to understand.
CB, replies: Hi priti, yes, that is good if you will be rolling over. you will gain 10rs. usually a discount indicates selling pressure in a stock.

is this dowside because of short covering?

Unfortunately , I exited my Nifty Shorts 5400 and entered RIL ( expecting market may go up with RIL) , but it didn't happen, I lost money in nifty shorts and RIL longs :-)
In fact, its huge loss for me ( more than 3L indian rupees) . I wanted to warn the users in this forum , its our decison, which is final. lets not blame anybody for our loss.
Fine, now, I hold RIL 3000 futures( aug) at 1062. Shall I book loss now? or shall I average it around 980 ( may be I can make it to 1010 at the most) . Wha'ts the best thing. If I book loss, what's the best stock to cover my loss quickly.

I have sit with huge loss about Sel Manufacturing.I hold at @55 level.Current price is @ 46 level.
What is the support level and when bounce back.What is the target price.
Please suggest.

SEL Manufacturing Company has reported a sales turnover of Rs 356.86 crore and a net profit of Rs 23.14 crore for the quarter ended Jun 2010. For the quarter ended Jun 2009 the sales turnover was Rs 182.92 crore and net profit was Rs 18.23 crore.
