good afternoon, cb... how r u doing?
i wanted to clarify something... i hold an account with geojit, they say brokerage for 1 lot in f@o is 75... i rang up to find out how much brokerage it will be if i buy and sell the same day... they said only 75 and not 150... yesterday, i bought, sold and renetered the same series... so as per my understanding, the brokerage i was supposed to pay was 150... but my statement says it as 225... could that be a mistake so that i get it corrected? or is it supposed to be so?
Kartik, replies: Hi suds, since you traded Intraday, i.e bought and sold on the same day, they charged you 75rs, and then again your re-entered it, and you didnt sell it off in Intraday, so they charged you 150, total 225

i am holding chambal on 67...IIFL had given me the call for target of 72 in 5 days...what price shd i exit from it?? Also suggest me on engineers india holding @ 343..why it is not moving???
Kartik, replies: Hi shiva, once Chambal manages to close above 70, it can see 75-76 soon, hold it for some more time, Engineere's India seems to face some consolidation at current levels, hold it for another 3-4 weeks time

suds, the brokerage is 75 rs per lot per each trade, ie. brokerage payable for 1 lot buy & sell is 75 + 75 = 150 rs.

thanks for the explaination karti.. but this is how my statement looks lilke...
1) sold 1 lot at 11.30... brokerage 75
1) bought 1 lot at 9.30.. brokerage 75
3)bought 1 lot at 12.15... brokerage 75
their site says maximum brokerage on a lot is 75 (from 35 to 75 based on volumes)
when i called them and asked about intraday of 1 lot, they said buying + selling = 75... re-entering will be counted as 2nd lot and tht will cost another 75... so i have to pay 75 for intraday and 75 for delivery ryt? i am still confused about their 225... and the way they have mentioned sale at 11-30 first rather than buy at 9-30.

oh is it matlee?? but i dont know why they tld me its just 75 for buy and sell... hmm, they should be more transparent... in that case u need a profit of more than 4 rupees atlease to get even a single penny ryt? thats odd!! i was trying my hand on low-value option... so u end up loosing even if us sell @ 3.5 rs higher!!!
