Hi CB, I want to know if a company declares a dividend, the record date is the day on which u get the dividend or the date when all share holders should have the stock to qualify for the dividend? What are your near term targets for SEJAL and ASTEC? Alay. Ahmedabad.
CB, replies: Hi alay, you need to hold the stock a day before the dividend is declared. if you buy after its declared you will not be eligible for the dividend

Market continue Go UP and UP but, i am hold SEL MCL continue DOWN and DOWN why reason pls explain. and SEL MCL - result which date announce? my cost 62/- hold or exit. thanks.

Boss ...booked huge loss in nifty put 5300@68 sold at 14

I am holding IDFC CA 200 bought at 2.4 and IFCI CA 65 bought at 1.0. Now that settlement date is approching , I am confused whether to hold or book loss. Kindly advice.

CB , i didnt not understand the answer, you mean to say that if nifty opens above 5450 to exit 5400 pe of if nifty closes above 5450.
