Citigroup Net Income Falls 38%, Beating Analysts' Estimates
U.S. Stock Futures Fall as BofA, Citi, GE Miss Revenue Estimates
U.S. stock-index futures fell as lower-than-estimated revenue at General Electric Co., Bank of America Corp. and Citigroup Inc. offset the government’s settlement of a fraud lawsuit against Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
GE slipped 1 percent, while Bank of America tumbled 4.2 percent and Citigroup lost 1.9 percent. Google Inc. sank 4.2 percent after earnings trailed the average analyst estimate following a surge in spending. Goldman Sachs, the most profitable firm in Wall Street history, rallied 3.6 percent after agreeing to pay $550 million and change its business practices to settle claims it misled investors.
Futures contracts on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index expiring in September slipped 0.4 percent to 1,085.8 as of 9:14 a.m. in New York. The benchmark index for U.S. equities advanced 0.1 percent yesterday, reversing the 0.9 percent slump 40 minutes before exchanges closed. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures lost 0.5 percent to 10,246 and Nasdaq 100 futures declined 0.2 percent to 1,845.75 today.

Hi Ravikumar, I am on the same boat as you with M&M. I have many shares @ 630, Now very weak :-(. I too missed at 640 twice, a golden opportunity. I thought it will head to 700 :-(. What do you thinK?
