is it advisable to trade as soon as the market open or should i wait for 15 -20 min...see the direction and then take a call.

Hi Karthik/CB,
Iam new to stock market and have a clarification in Index Options trading. As Index Options are European style they cannot be exited before expiry date. However, I could see a lot of messages in this site stating that I have a put/call with possible loss and can I exit now? How is this possible before the expiry date?
Kartik, replies: Hi Syam, yes, rightly said, in NSE there are 2 types of options avalible, European and American, most stock options which are traded are American style options, its the default one
