HI CB ... Please advice...when we go long in futures of any stock what preventive measures should we take... say supposing something happens overnight in company and stock comes tumbling down and then our entire money will be wiped out... and there is always 99% chance of any stock coming down overnight and only 1% that it would double overnight... so if in long then what should we do to avoid such risk...thanks in advance
CB, replies: Hi ac, you should always hedge positions buy also enter a call/put as a hedge. this will help reduce losses buy quite a lot
