Dear CB,
Can u please clarify what is the upper and lower circuit and rules related to them to trade in stocks. How much a stock price price can move ( upward or downward ) in a single day?
CB, replies: Hi Sumit, bse usually keeps changing these based on some criteria. usually its 5, 10 or 20% in a single day. Stocks which are traded in futures do not have a circuit filter.

Hi Manbir, yes. one can do intraday in futures. margin required is usually 25% of the total lot value. for nifty it is 25k.

How is ABB lokking at cmp for investment ??
