State-run Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is planning an investment of Rs4,580 crore ($986 million) to buy 14 oil & gas rigs.
The company wants to acquire ten onshore rigs for Rs900 crore from the state-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) and float tenders for four offshore rigs that may require an investment of Rs3,680, the report said.
"For onshore rigs we will go with BHEL. We have got quotations from them," an ONGC official said. "For offshore jackup rigs, once we crystalise the design, we will go for tendering."
If awarded, this will be the first major order in the rigs segment for BHEL.

dear CB sir,regarding wipro two weeks befor the price came down from 669 to 395
what will happen to my stock 140@678 holding since 2months.can get any divident or bonus.also hold orient bank of comm 250 @337 what isyour view on this.pls comment
