Could you please advise how the book value of the stock is calculated
Also what should be the percentage of book value to the share price to buy a specific stock
What are the factors below to be considered before buying a specific stock
PE ratio
book value
company debts
reserves
capital
profit of the previous quarters to till date
Also please advise from where can we get all these details of any particular stock

CB, thanks for reply, but SELMCL IPO of SEL TEXTILES, and setting up new Plant are all very old news, since many months it is out and notified to NSE/BSE, so today's up move is not due to those news.
CB, do you have an source in Big Time Traders, we can depend to know latest stock market news and other developments

Hi CB
I have these positions for June series. Please advice whether I should exit tomorrow or wait for the expiry. I am tensed as most of them are trading near their CMP. If they are not coming below their CMP then I will be in huge loss. Please advise as I have taken option for the first time. I had taken these 15 days back.

U.S. stocks gained after Apple Inc. said it sold 3 million iPads in 80 days, triggering a rally in technology shares that overpowered an earlier slump spurred by an unexpected drop in home sales.
U.S. stocks fell yesterday, reversing an earlier gain of as much as 1.2 percent for the S&P 500, as a retreat in retail and technology shares outweighed China’s decision to relax its currency’s fixed rate to the dollar. The benchmark for U.S. equities has gained 6.4 percent since June 6 and completed its biggest two-week rally since November on June 18 as concern about Europe’s debt crisis eased.
