Hi Kartik, Exited IFCI Futures in loss,....never knew i cud exit it though its in ban period in F&O.....but may b i cud as i was long. but feeling dipressed...as bought it with great hopes.
i still feel it has the potential...is there ne way to know in advance which stock going to b in ban period ???

Kartik, replies: Hi neelimakumar, oh, you can check the Market wide positions for a stock here: http://www.nseindia.com/content/nsccl/mpl.csv .At the end of each day the Exchange disseminates the aggregate open interest across all Exchanges in the futures and options on individual scrips along with the market wide position limit for that scrip and tests whether the aggregate open interest for any scrip exceeds 95% of the market wide position limit for that scrip. If yes, then its put in Ban Period until and unless the Market wide positions reduce

Hi SS, hold it for 1-2 months time, it can do well

Hi kranthi, a contract comes in a Ban Period when the market wide positions have above 95%, the ban will be lifted and open for trade only when the particular positions below 80%, so if you are holding a position you are only allowed to sell it, fresh entries are not possible, this causes some selling pressure

Hi Gitanjali, most welcome, same to you

Hi balaji, you may enter in small quantity for Short term as of now

    Hi satish, yes, seems to

Hi swetang, IFCI looks strong above 55-56, hold it for some more time, hold Infosys with a SL at 2720 and Reliance with a SL at 5150 on Nifty

Hi nikhil, they can add 5-6% in a weeks time if Markets trade strong

    Hai CB!
Somebody told Jubilant Foodworks to cross 301 level and the target is 350 and above. It is correct. Please suggest.

Kartik, replies: Hi ramsingh, Jubilant Foodworks Ltd can see 350 levels in 2-3 months time, it would be better to book 50% profits on rise and hold rest with a trailing SL
