Hi CB, Buying JUNE expiry or JULY expiry is good for F&O? Is there any drawbacks of buying JULY expiry other than its high price?

sir i want to know about dishtv today its down 1.3% and its openinterest up 1.6% is this means more short positions are bulding up and can see downside in the coming days

Hi CB, Ok. Help me to clarify this. Here is my doubt. For eg: I am buying a July expiry. But it is going against my expectation. So I can hold till next month. But if it is a Jun expiry it will expire soon. So, In that case, July is the safest. Right? Or any other issue with this?
CB, replies: Hi cks, thats in options. in futures it wont matter much since you can roll over anytime to the next month before expiry
