i am holding following long positions: Bank nifty, tatachem, mundra and BEML.

    Pls suggest for targets?

CB, replies: Hi good, as of now they are a hold. if nifty holds onto 5000, can see some bounce. tomorrow they may remain a bit flat. if they are near cost to cost then would advice to exit form beml and mundra for now to lighten positions as markets are volatile and on the weaker side.

HI CB... HOW ARE GAP DOWN OPENINGS FILLED ... LIKE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TODAY FROM 5117 OF FRIDAY TO 5032 OF TODAY THIS HAS CREATED AN ISLAND REVERSAL...WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

CB, replies: Hi ac, these are filled in short term. its a rare case scenario when these are not filled.. something like the 20% circuit that markets hit in may. that still needs to be filled. 100-150 point gap up/downs dont really count much

Hi ABHI, it may remain a bit flat tomorrow it seems. hold it for short term. likely to do well

Hi oswyn, omc's get benefited if crude oil comes down. companies like cairn and aban are benefited if crude moves higher.

Hi Dukhi Aatma, no,dont enter them yet. blue bird has been reporting losses. Rama pulp does not seem to be strong enough.

    Sir,

To be on safer side, how much %age of money would you advice to keep aside for trading in Nifty Options. I have Rs.50,000/- (total surplus, wouldn't mine if lost some thing).

CB, replies: Hi rkp, not more than 5k in that case. options is risky you can double or loose all your money in one go. if you are new then start with 5k to experience the volatility and get a hang of options.

    sir,

Holding TATA Steel @ Rs.483/-; Mahindra Forging @ Rs.101/-; Saksoft @ Rs.68/-; and Ashok Leyland @ Rs.64/-. Please Advice on the same.

CB, replies: Hi rkp, they are a hold for short/med term. tata steel looks a bit weak. you could enter a 450 put of its to hedge position for now with sl near 470-475. others are a hold for some more time.
