HI CB,
I am in a great dilemma. Please help me out. I hold 650 shares of Suzlon @Rs 115. In view of its upcoming rights issue, what should I do ? Should i average at the CMP of Rs 55 ? On mOnday, it will surely open around 53. Should I buy 1000 shares @50-53? There is no point exercising the rights. PLEASE RPLY & HELP ME OUT.

upon observing weekly macd charts. one strange thing i observed: RIL, Tata steel all are showing negative trend (long term). what is your advice. short now for longer period?

Sir , I am holding 310 shares of California Software (Bought @ 61.5) & 103 shares of Indag Rubber (Bought @ 114) . Shall I exit from these shares tomorrow on opening or hold with stop loss. Please advice.

Dear Chirag,
I had a look about Open Interest.I tried it to apply TataPower future.
I downloaded fo04JUN2010bhav.csv from nseindia.com.It gives following data.
SYMBOL TATAPOWER
EXPIRY_DT 24-Jun-10
CLOSE 1242.2
SETTLE_PR 1242.2
CHG_IN_OI -18400
Please clarify following doubts.
1. Does SETTLE_PR represent previous close ?.
2. http://www.moneycontrol.com/india/stockpricequote/powergenerationdistribution/tatapowercompany/TPC displays close as 1242.05 and previous close as 1242.15 for the same instrument .So,why there is slight difference between nseindia bhav copy and moneycontrol.com ?. Which one should be followed ?.
3. Above Data shows change in open interest is -ve.Close rate of contract has no change from previous close.In this case how to decide trend ?.
4. fo04JUN2010bhav.csv has following data for Tatapower future having expiry date 29-jul.
SYMBOL TATAPOWER
EXPIRY_DT 29-Jul-10
CLOSE 1241.85
SETTLE_PR 1241.85
CHG_IN_OI 2500
Above Data shows CHG_IN_OI is +ve.Closing rate has no change from previous close.In this case how to decide trend ?.
Further why there is no same trend in CHG_IN_OI for these two expiry dates,Eventhough contract symbol is same ?.What does it represent ?.
