sir i have just started trading i have some doubts regarding bonus issues. if a company is giving 1:1 bonus and if i have 100 shares in that company does it means that i will get 100 free shares and i will have total 200 shares in my demat account and can i sell all my 200 shares at the cmp of that company
Kartik, replies: Hi Deepak, yes. and the stock price will come down by 50%.. you can sell 100 at cmp and rest once they are in ur acc.

thanks for ur reply. sir i have one more doubt. Suppose if a company announces bonus issue on June 5 and the ex bonus date is june 25 then will all those who buy the shares on or before june 25 will be eligible for bonus issue. How long will it take the bonus issues to be credited to our demat account
