I saw the following sell call in bloomberg today.
4:41 pm -
SELL REI Agro Ltd, at Rs 50-55, says Sunil Jain, VP Equity Research, Nirmal Bang. The stock closed at Rs 46.70, up 8.6% on the BSE.

Kartik, replies: Hi Sabu, Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd and Shree Ashtavinaya at one time were strong bets for Long term, they used to produce hit films that gave them huge profits, in the crash of 2008/2009 Shree ashtavinaya was the only stock that traded positive, but now days the films made by these are not attracting a wider audience due to the Large amount of competition from other firms, such as Reliance Media works etc, a person thinking that the future flim made by a particular agency may be a hit that might increase the companies profit, so they plan to invest in it, tough it can always be a risky bet, since on cannot anticipate the overall demand

its declared that OIL is giving 340% dividend..i have 200 shares, could you help with calculating it for me and how do i total it / share?
Kartik, replies: Hi oswyn, they have given a dividend of 160%, dividend is given on the face value of the stock, oil has a face value of 10, so 160% of 10 is 16rs, i.e you shall get 16rs per share as dividend

The following 3 companies are sinking due to heavy debts.
Long term investment in these scripts are risky.
1.Kingfisher Airlines
2.Cranes Software
3.Pyramid Saimira Theatre Limited
The third one is to be delisted at NSE at the end of Monday's trading
due to non compliance with the provisions of listing agreement.
Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that trading in the equity shares of Pyramid Saimira Theatre Limited will be suspended w.e.f. June 1, 2010 (i.e. closing hours of trading on May 31, 2010) as the company has failed to respond to the notice of the Exchange for non-compliance with the provisions of listing agreement.

CB, There is a buy-back offer from Company for GEODESIC (max price will 150 per share)., why then the price is not moving up, do you have detailed information on this buy back and the likely price of buyback, thanks
