Some analysts believe that today's market rally was a 'dead cat bounce' that was initiated to cover their shorts and once the news is fully factored in, there will be negativity again...what are your thoughts on this?...do you think that the nifty will move back to around 4900-5000 levels or will be there an up-move toward 5400 from here?

CB, replies: Hi Karthik, no, does not seem so. it was a news based on global news. European markets have rallied further and are up 8-9%. maybe will see a positive opening tomorrow too.

I heard that once can trade in Mutual funds also through the terminal. I have sharekhan and i saw the entire list of Mutual funds there...how does it work?...for eg. If i want to invest Rs.35000 in dsp blackrock at an nav of rs.15..can i buy them today online and sell it tomorrow itself?..if market condition is good and nav goes up?...just like trading in equities?
CB, replies: Hi Arun, yes, you can apply for them online.. you wont be able to trade for 2-3 days since they are very slow movers. but, yes, we can trade them
