Hi mgf, If you buy on 29 June, you will not get the dividend. You should buy on or before 24 June (Trade+2days for stock to come in your demat account), if you buy on or before 24 June, on 29th June you will be recorded as the holder of Wipro shares. If you buy on 29th, the stocks will be come in your account after 2 days, ie. 1st or 2nd July.
Same good for any bonus Record Date, you should be buying at least 3 trading days prior to Record Date to be eligible for Bonus, Split, Dividend.

I spoke with my broking agency yesterday and they told me that the next target for Nifty is 4900...and the trend will only be reversed if it breaks 5121 with huge volumes and they also told me that there might be a bounce anytime soon but that opportunity should be used to go short....your thoughts?
