i need one immediate clarification wrt shortsell.

i do a short sell and if i m not able buy the stock before the end of trading session
will the stocks will be squared off automatically ?
at what price?
by when this can happen?
when the sale amount can be credited to my a/c?
is there any interest charged on this ?

also provide all other relevant information OR links to facts about short selling .

Hello Sir,
Yesterday I bought 10,000 share of FCS software @ 4.68 , Today it is trading at 4.00 (12% download on my buying price). Someone told me that , this is a operator share ,
Today I noticed that buying quantities and selling quantities are abnormal because operator are moving this stock down to down.
Can I book lose and exit this stock or hold for month, it will come at my price then I will exit?

Please give me your suggestion.
