Hi CB/Karthik, My friend's Broker is Sbi Cap Sec. He shorted 3iinfotech today in intraday option. He was unable to buy & didn't get squared off. Technically Intraday stock should get sqaured off automatically but didn't happen. Will it go for auction and has to pay penalty for system issue?
What would happen now & what should be done?
kartik, replies: Hi shrikanth, shorts do not get squared off automatically. it will go for auction on the 3rd day. if value of the stock comes down by then, then he can be in some profit. also check with the broker if he will charge any penalty.

I would like to buy Unitech at CMP for an amount of Rs.5 Lakh. I can hold for 2 weeks. Do you think that it would touch 90 levels because it has gone up today with huge volumes.
