HI Kartik, My nifty short gets covered each day and acct gets updated accordingly is it please ..so I do not really lose much do I ?....And there is no need to average really...is there?As it happens anyway with the existing one ...

Kartik, replies: Hi Gitanjali, in futures your broker will deduct loss form the acc daily. but you can hold it till all ur losses are recovered
