Hi Kapil,you have raised an intriguing query.Infact ,SEL's fall ,rise and fall started a little earlier ,and strangely when index was rising SEL was falling (oct/nov 2007 ,from approx Rs 200 to approx Rs 80) and when index was going downhill ,SEL was rising/rocketing (Approx Rs 700 in end jul/early aug 2008 ) and then again nose dived to approx rs 60/- in oct 2008.

Hi Kapil, thats fine. its not really something to worry about. as long as fundamentals are good, its fine. if one has sold then there was some who also bought them.. almost every stock was beaten down by 70-80% in the 2008 crash.. its one which has not yet recovered
