hi cb. good evening. i hold ivrcl at 355. is there a chance that it might go down further. you had earlier advised me to average it out. what do you think is the possible low (or) very strong support. One more question. Is the market going through some serious correction or is it because of budget and monsoon. please suggest.

What do you think about the position of UNITECH,LT,NTPC,HDIL,GUJNRECOKE,ROLTA,UCO BANK,SBIN,GVK POWER & INFRA and SUZLON? I have all these in my portfolio. What will be the position of these stocks in coming 2/3 months? I am not giving you the buying price of this stocks but I purchased these within last one month. I just want to know the futures of these stocks within coming 2/3 months.

Tax is not deducted on the amt you invest since you are salaried and it already gets deducted. it is calculated on the profit amount.. if you book profits in the same yr you will have to pay some percent of the profits.. if you hold a stock for 3 yrs and book profit then you will be taxed on the 3rd yr and not every year.

Hi CB,
I am a salaried person and i invest my salary in shares. Although my salary comes in hand after all the tax deducted but will i still be appicable to pay any kind of income tax if i buy shares.
Also upto how much money can i invest in shares to avoid coming in taxable slab. I heard that if we invest above Rs. 1 lakh in shares then we have to pay income tax.
Is it true. CB please advice.

In which price should I buy LTand SBIN more? Should I hold those stocks (mentioned earlier message) if market going down more?

What do i need to do with with this.....
When can i exit from these....
Since around 30% in LOSS, I was very frustrated.

CB, I see more downside on my holdings.... Is it good to avg or wait for more dip.... or dont avg them..... hw abt ALOK, ISPAT, DISHTV especially I hope GMR will do well once it starts its rally....
