Hi CB, I SAW A QUERY REGARDING OI BUILD UP HERE.
I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL TIMES THAT SELLING OR BUYING PRESSURE IS NOT AT ALL JUDGED BY OI.
MANY TIMES OPPOSITE THING HAPPENS NEXT DAY.
    CAN U PLS TELL WHY?

Kartik, replies: Hi SOM, yes, rightly said, Open Interest just shows the total number of shares that have been taken in delivery on the previous day, so there are chances that someone might sell some of his shares on the next trading day, this in turn causes the stock price to go down

    Hi CB,
From the trend for past 3 years when Sensex peaked, the share prices of stocks that i was keen on have dropped drastically. Example : Moser baer : 200 in 2007 now its at 78.
SEL hit 614 in 2008 now at 82.7
    Suzlon hit 400 + in 2008 now at 72.

Those were just a couple of examples. Considering that Sensex would be back around 21k even after 1 year. Would the share prices of such stocks go back to where they were earlier? Would they see the old price levels again when the market peaks? Is it sensible to invest thinking in these lines for long term?

    Sathya

CB, replies: Hi sathya, yes, them touching their all time highs does not seem likely anytime soon. would advice to avg them at cmp
