GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd has informed BSE that GVK Power (Goindwal Sahib) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company which is implementing 540MW Coal based thermal power project at Goindwal Sahib, Taran Tarn District, in the State of Punjab, has signed all the financing documents on February 01, 2010 with the consortium of Lenders thereby achieved its financial closure.
The Project Cost is Rs. 3,200 Crores which is financed by means of equity of Rs. 800 Crores and debt of Rs. 2,400 Crores. IDBI Bank Ltd. has syndicated the debt apart from being one of the Lenders in the Consortium of Bankers.
