Can you please tell me what is the market direction in coming days it will go up or go down ? I am confusing weather its good time to invest money in market or wait for some major dips.Please advice because I want to invest some more money in the market.

Kartik, replies: Hi santoshp, markets are likely to see some flattish session, you may start by investing 30% of you capital for stocks, and then avg them out on dips

if any company announces bonus or dividend and the execution date is say tomorrow then if i buy that company shares today then am i eligible for bonus shares or dividend ?

Kartik, replies: Hi Ram, Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd is a good company fundamentally, but its a slow mover, book 50% profits in it at CMP, and hold the rest of Short term, exit Geometric Ltd around 82 levels Stock bonus date is announced in advanced (you need to buy the shares before the ex date), but dividend can be declared by the company anytime, in other words you cant anticipate when a company is going to give dividend

I m new to this site.
However, I want to know the following -
Purvankara for which i am holding 400 shares at 108
Omaxe for which i am holding 25 shares at 105
Powergrid at 106
unitech at 84
sterlite technologies at 321
IRB Infrastructures at 252
I just want advice on the above shares. When should I book profit or at what limit should I hold it.
