Kartik, replies: Hi Ram, Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd is a good company fundamentally, but its a slow mover, book 50% profits in it at CMP, and hold the rest of Short term, exit Geometric Ltd around 82 levels Stock bonus date is announced in advanced (you need to buy the shares before the ex date), but dividend can be declared by the company anytime, in other words you cant anticipate when a company is going to give dividend

It always happens, whenever i book profits in a script the same Flies up like hell. Booked profits in NIIT today @192. Then RCOM i sold it @182 whch i bought @170.
But whenever i hold a share for higher prices its comes back to my cost price
I failed to book profits in Icci when it went to 900 last time. still holding it @820 levels.
How can we judge when to exit a stock and when to hold it. Any technical advice on this.
Kartik, replies: Hi EquityKings., to be on the safe side, it would be better if you exit 50% profits once they have reached your targets, and hold the rest with a trailing SL 2-3 rs below

STC India moved up today also quite a bit.....any chance of some more upmoves of it tommorow also? Can it add another 15-20 Rs. tommorow ?
