For options, I see "Nifty 28 Jan 2010 PE 5200" and for ABAN I see "ABAN 28 Jan 2010 PA 1380". What do we mean by PE and PA here?

Also, for “Nifty 28 Jan 2010 PE 5200″ I see Current Price(77.40), Low Price(67.0), High Price(83.05). What do these price mean? Are these premium prices? If so then if I want to buy nifty put then I will have to pay 50*77.40 Rs where 50 is lot size and 77.40 is premium per unit?

CB, replies: Hi matlee81, its a hold for short term. can see 830. as of now is consolidating after a good upmove in couple of months .hold it. they are doing catch with large caps which have done exceptionally well in past yr.. they are likely to outperform for some more time.. in penny stocks blue chip india looks good.
