cb, i have a doubt. i bought crompton on 30th and sold at 4th jan. (after 2 trading days). But today i found the share was in my holdings and asked the broker, they told before the shares reached your dp your dp a/c you sold it and action for that selling will be held tomorrow (friday). I am confused with this. please explain. How is it possible to sell the share in my delivery account (cnc) when it was not there. What will happen in action.
Kartik, replies: Hi gayaram, if you dont have the share and you sell it, it is considered at short sell, it will be send for auction on the third day, and based on stock price on that day, your profit/loss shall be decided

Hi Kartik, India's market regulator said on Thursday regulated finance companies now no longer need to show 100% asset cover while selling unsecured debt instruments to raise capital, removing an earlier requirement.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) had in November said that, in case of listed securities, the issuer should maintain 100% asset cover sufficient to discharge the principal amount at all times
does this news act as a positive trigger tomorrow?
