One more question can I buy Karuturi Global & Confidence petroleum for 6 months of time. and if yes what would be the target . any chances of getting it double from this point.

What is Open interest and how does that impact the NIfty. Also what does high open interest indicate.
What is a roll over? what can we predict from it.

CB, replies: Hi Nirjhara, if OI is increasing and a stock is moving higher, then it means stock could continue to move higher.. and if OI is increasing and stock is moving lower, means stock could come down further

Hi Nirjhara, It does not mean any thing .. You can spend your whole life trying to read, deduce and predict from all these "open interest", "put Call ratio" "chart patterns", but what matters is that you have to be on the right side of the trade and just be lucky ... at least for the last 10 yrs of my experience in the stock market i have learnt only one thing ... LUCK HAS TO BE ON YOUR SIDE ....
