what would be the minimum amount needed to buy Nifty Options [any lot size] ?
I understand Nifty Future would need per lot [50] about rs.25000.
How about Nifty options, say at a premium of rs 100 ?
and, what would be the practical minimum advisable Nifty Options to be bought for a practical trading, considering minimum brokerage for option at rs.75 ?
Kartik, replies: Hi deeyal, it usually depends on the rate of the contract.. If a call/put is trading at rs.100 then you total investment will be rs. 100*50 - 5000 per lot
