When there is a signal for index options to buy/sell above /below a particular strike how will we select the right strike price to trade ? For example, if there is a signal to sell nifty option below 17000.56, how will we operate? Should we opt a strike above 17000 or below it?

Record date has been set as March 29, 2023.
When to make a fresh position in it for short term as well as 1 year perspective
