Last week i bought 350 shares in Mahindra Satyam. In 2 days L&T pulled out it's major stake. After next 2 days, 35 companies claim about Rs 12 billion advance is due to them. The stock price is coming down and down. Is it worth holding shares ? Pls suggest

Thanks cb. It is just that I have lost a lot past few [many!!']times.Contrary to what I am doing now previously I wd short sell on any given day! .This forum helps me a lot .I am less hasty. Thanks again.
CB, replies: Hi care, you are always welcome.. hold onto your stocks for short term.. 1-2 months.. believe me, the only way to earn good money is hold onto your stock till it does well. thats because we are not investing in a loss making company.these are very strong companies and move with markets. overall trend is up.. some correction maybe in short term but we will make new highs...dont avg stocks yet

CB, replies: Hi HARSHIT, stock is in a strong downtrend. would advice to exit it and invest in something much better like a karuturi or a ifci on dips.. no really sure when it will stop falling. company was reporting false profits since a long time.

Please advice whether to square off positions in ICSA 250 shares @ 176, Everest Kantko - 150 shares @ 158, Nyvelli lignite 150 shares @156, Crompton Greaves 75 shares @ 413, Kwality Dairy 10 shares @ 1215 and NTPC - 100 shares @ 215. Please advice whether to sqaure off and buy again or wait. I dont want to be stuck with these shares as most of the analyst are saying that Nifty can retrace to 4750.

Hi Cb, I can invest again on dips. Please advice which are the shares I should watch to accumulate on dips. GVK Inf & Power is one stock which in in my wishlist but today also it closed in green. Should I average the existing stocks or sqaureoff and accumulate your stocks on dips.

Don't know of any news on Celestial, that's why wanted to check with CB and see if a breakout has started on the upper side. Even otherwise, without any news I think they are in a great space and undervalued. So good buy. At what levels, guess we will wait for CB's suggestion.

Hi Creast,
Since you are invested in Everest Kanto, you might want to check Confidence Petroleum. Its a play on gas just like Everest Kanto, but undervalued as its unnoticed. Lot of potential - much more when compared to Everest Kanto. You might want to check on this with CB for more accurate information.

Hi CB.. I donno what is happening with Ispat.. yesterday I was short , and it suddenly ran up.. today I was long ,it went down.. what strategy shud I play tomorrow ?
CB, replies: Hi Jay, play with technical levels on nifty. its a market mover and wil move with the nifty. go short only if nifty breaks 4920. and long if nifty crosses 5080. as of now nifty is in a no trade zone..if at anytime buying does come in, you can buy something strictly for intraday. do intraday till nifty breaks on either side
