i have dish tv shares from last 3 months, purchased at the price Rs.96 ,qty : 300 should sell at current market price or hold ???

SIR, I bought IVC ( IL&FS INVESTMENT ) 500 @ 18. Is this good for 2-3yrs bet.
now i have 1 lakh in my bank S/B account. They give int only 3%. This amount i need after 6-7 months. pls advise any short term any fund with capital secure and normal return.
