I am an investor(senior citizen). Recently my son has transferred (off market) his shares to my demat account. I have sold some of those scrips and same day purchased another scrips from that money. What will be the tax implications?
CB, replies: Hi Meetaben, the ones you sold were long term investments. these are not taxable. Gains on short term investments and intraday trading are taxable
