Hello CB,
would like to know as what price bonus share is given by a company? and how do we know the price?
for eg: i had Ranbaxy lab 07 shares@610/- and after merger was allotted 05 shares as bonus by sun pharma on 16th April(got intimation) but allotment was done on 10th April 2015. it was 10:8 so i got 05 and Rs. 641/- back as net proceeds of fractional entitlement.
what would the bonus share cost to me?
