When stocks are traded within applicable price band, how come Adani Enterprises Limited plunge 81 % to Rs. 118.65 from previous close of Rs.637 ?. Its pre open session price is also at Rs. 573.30.

Adani ent was not a gap down opening. It slipped by 80% during the course of the day. Is it due to the merger process or anything else?

Hi ann, If Adani Enterprises Limited had slipped during the course of the day then how it will drop 80% ? Since, the price band is maximum fixed at 20%.
