Hello CB
The stock of LUPIN has moved from 600 to 2100 in just 2 years .
Recently it saw a correction to 1600 which I thought was a healthy correction . But as soon as it touched 1600 institutions rushed to buy it and lifted it to 1750 in just 4 -5 days and then it saw a rally of 5 % + on Friday bringing it near 1800 .
With the stock priced at 1800 - 2100 obviously no small trader or investor will buy it . Then are even institutional investor so foolish as to lap it up near 2000 levels inspite of a horrible result ?
Do they really think that inspite of such poor result Lupin can go to 3000 or 4000 that they are putting the hard earned money of poor mututal fund investors into such pricey stocks @ near 2000 .
Actually coming to think of it Sun Pharma @ 1200 ( it was 280 , 2 years back !) Aurobindo Pharma @ 1400 ( it was 100 Rs stock 2 years back ! ) are all stock delivering horrible numbers but commanding stratosphere valuations !
Are these stocks really worth it or is it just operators playing and institutions playing along !
CB, replies: Hi AMBI, yes, pharma stocks did see a good rally in past 1-2 years. guess because these are defensive bets and have been posting good results. as of now its best to avoid entering these for med/ long term

Hi Mr CB
Your view on Nifty and Bank Nifty sir ?
You can give for two scenarios :
1) Market reacts positively to RBI policy and Nifty sees a rally
2) market reacts negatively to the policy and Nifty sees a sell off .

Also even if post - RBI market rallies does it have the strength to cross 8550 - 8600 ?
And even if Market tanks will 8280 be breached or will it again hold out and we continue in the rut of 8280 - 8450 for another month ?
